Arbor Low Stone Circle and Gib Hill Barrow – UK Hike

Arbor Low is a well-preserved prehistoric monument in the beautiful Peak District, Derbyshire County, England. The monument consists of a stone circle surrounded by earthworks and a ditch. It lies on a Carboniferous Limestone plateau known as the White Peak area.

It is believed to have been built during the Neolithic period between 2500 and 2000 BC and to have served as a place of worship or ritual, with the stones being aligned with the movements of the sun and moon.
