Aphrodite’s Rock – Paphos, Cyprus

Today we welcome you from our new summer home, the beautiful island of Cyprus. Today we visit the region around Paphos, more precisely the Aphrodite’s Rock.

Cyprus, officially called the Republic of Cyprus, is an island nation in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Paphos is a coastal city in southwest Cyprus and is the capital of Paphos District.

Aphrodite’s Rock, also known as Petra tou Romiou, is a sea stack in Paphos, Cyprus. It is located off the shore along the main road from Paphos to Limassol. The combination of the beauty of the area and its status in mythology as the birthplace of Aphrodite makes it a popular tourist location.
