Muravera is a comune (municipality) in the Province of South Sardinia in the Italian region Sardinia, about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of Cagliari.

It is a centre of citrus production as well as a tourist resort, including several fine beaches such as that of Costa Rei.

Torre Salinas Beach (Spiaggia di Torre Salinas) is located near Muravera. The beach is very wide, reaching a hundred meters in width in some places, and is characterized by the ochre-gold color of the sand.

On the dunes behind sprout sea lilies, even further behind verdant Mediterranean scrub. The sea will surprise you with its transparency and various shades of color: blue alternates with green hues.
