Aerial View of Sant’Elmo Beach – Castiadas, Sardinia, Italy
Sant’Elmo beach is located near the municipality of Castiadas in southeastern Sardinia, Italy and is characterized by fine white sand.
The sea is crystal clear and has beautiful iridescent colors, varying from emerald green, to green, to turquoise, to blue.
The sea at Sant’Elmo beach is really very clean and is characterized by the presence of a few rocks, a mostly sandy seabed, and the absence in significant quantities of posidonia.
The beach is divided in two by a small group of outcropping rocks.
You can go snorkeling in the sea as it is populated by various species of fish from the nearby marine protected area of Capo Carbonara.
