Monte Cogoni Beach (Spiaggia di Monte Cogoni) is the continuation of the beach of Sa Colonia, located in the beautiful town of Chia in the Italian region Sardinia.
On the promontory, the left side is dominated by the Tower of Chia at the foot of which stretched the ancient Phoenician city of Bithia.
The beach at the foot of the tower is named Sa Colonia. While the Monte Cogoni beach is on the opposite side in front of the Chia lagoon, habitat of pink flamingos.
The beach has a long, wide sandy shore of fine, amber-white sand. The sea is stunning, with colors of different shades of blue and emerald green.
