Driving on the Changsha–Zhangjiajie Expressway – Hunan, China
In this video we will drive along the Changsha–Zhangjiajie Expressway (长沙—张家界高速公路), G5513, commonly referred to as the Changzhang Expressway (长张高速公路) located in Hunan Province, China.
The expressway connects Yuelu District of Changsha City and Yongding District of Zhangjiajie City.
In 1995, the construction of Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway started; on December 26, 2005, the entire Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway was opened to traffic, shortening the travel time from Changsha to Zhangjiajie from the original 6 hours to 3 hours.
The Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway starts at the west connecting line of Yinpenling Bridge in the east and ends at Zhangjiajie Toll Station in the west.
The total length of the line is 309.762 kilometers (including municipalized sections). The road is a two-way four-lane expressway with a design speed of 80~120 kilometers per hour.
