Popular Sakura Viewing Spot – Omiya Park, Saitama, Japan

Omiya Park is a public park located one km northeast of Omiya Station and the most visited park in Saitama. The park encompasses a huge area of 67.9ha and is famous for Japanese Red Pine forest and cherry blossoms. In particular, the park ranks in the Top 100 Locations in Japan for Cherry Blossoms.

Saitama is the capital and the most populous city of Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Its area incorporates the former cities of Urawa, Ōmiya, Yono and Iwatsuki. It is a city designated by government ordinance is in the Greater Tokyo Area, and lying 15 to 30 kilometres north of central Tokyo.
