Walk in Shanghai – Yunnan South Road
Yunnan South Road is a famous food street in the Huangpu District in the center of Shanghai, where there are many well-known restaurants such as Xiao Shaoxing, Deda Western Restaurant, Hong Changxing, Xiandelai, Wufangzhai, Xiaojinling, etc.
It used to be crowded with people, but now the street many shops on the site have been closed, and the walls of houses can be stuck with the words “demolition”. Shouning Road, which is close to the southern intersection of Yunnan, is especially famous for eating crayfish in the whole street. Now it has been fenced in and is undergoing demolition and reconstruction.
In the future, will this food street full of Shanghainese memories remain part of it, or will it be completely demolished? Several old shops still exist. If you have time, you might as well go there for a good meal.
