Walk in Shanghai – Gucheng Park
Gucheng Park (古城公园; Ancient City Park) is a park located in Huangpu District, Shanghai. It is located adjacent to Yu Garden and Chenghuang Temple.
It is a new park of sorts, intended to connect the traditional with the modern.
The park’s walls contrast with the high-rise buildings of Lujiazui to the east. A scenic promenade runs from west to east, from low to high, walking on it, with Yu Garden at the back, and Lujiazui in the background at the front.
By the way, the ancient city park looks like a cat’s paradise, with cats everywhere in the park and many people who care about them.
