Taimu Mountain Hike – Fujian, China

Taimu Mountain (Taimushan; 太姥山) is located in Fuding City, in northeastern Fujian Province, China. The mountain is also the core of the Taimu Mountain Scenic Area.

Taimu Mountain, with its backdrop of mountains and sea, is the Taoist site of the ancient goddess Taimu Nyang (also known as Huang Taimu) in Mingyue and Baiyue regions.

Legend has it that the immortals of the East China Sea meet here once a year, so this place is also known as the “Sea Immortal Capital”.
