Beijing Changdian Temple Fair on Liulichang Street
Changdian Temple Fair (厂甸庙会) is a traditional folk custom and religious event popular in Beijing’s Xicheng District, along Liulichang West and East Streets including Liulichang Cultural Market (琉璃厂文化市场).
It is one of the four major temple fairs in China.
On May 20, 2006, the Changdian Temple Fair was approved by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage.
