Yuri Gagarin First Man in Space – Music Video
Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin (9 March 1934 – 27 March 1968) was a Soviet pilot and cosmonaut who became the first man to journey into outer space.
Travelling on Vostok 1 spacecraft, Gagarin completed one orbit of Earth on 12 April 1961, with his flight taking 108 minutes.
Cosmonautics Day (Russian: День Космона́втики) is an anniversary celebrated in Russia and some other post-Soviet states on 12 April.
In 2011, at the 65th session of the United Nations General Assembly, 12 April was declared as the International Day of Human Space Flight.
