Walk in Tako, Japan – Hydrangea in Nichihon-ji Temple

Tako is a town located in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

Nichihon-ji Temple is called “Hydrangea Temple”. About 8,000 hydrangeas and hydrangeas are planted in the precincts of the Japanese temple, and many people visit during this period. In 2013, we solicited donations in the form of “commemorative tree planting” from the general public, and more than 50 new varieties of rare hydrangea were planted and opened as “hydrangea garden”. The hydrangea of Nihonji Temple is reputed to be more glossy and especially beautiful in color because the cedar grove blocks the sunlight.
