Walk in Shanghai – Qingcun Town
Qingcun Town (青村镇; Qingcunzhen) is located in the middle of Fengxian District, Shanghai. It is a town, which flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties of ancient China.
A stream ran through the village and had a Qingcun port. With the dock, commerce developed, and the village and town, or Qingcun Town, were formed here.
In the last year, after development and renovation, Qingcun Town has a name Qingxi Ancient Town. Walking in the ancient town at night, as if in the paradise, the ancient village of Jiangnan looks in front of you.
