Walk in Shanghai – Expo Park and Houtan Park
Shanghai Expo Park (上海世博公园) and Houtan Park (后滩公园) are in Pudong New District, Shanghai.
Shanghai Expo Park is close to Huangpu River, near the Mercedes-Benz Arena. The park’s landscaping combines Western and Chinese gardening styles.
Houtan Park is one of the core green areas of the Shanghai Expo Park.
The site was formerly the site of the steel factory (Pudong Iron and Steel Group) and the Houtan ship repair yard, and was designed in early 2007 and completed in October 2009.
