Walk in Shanghai – City under the Typhoon
Typhoon “Fireworks” has been around Shanghai for four days. The streets and communities there were flooded with rain, and the trees in some streets in downtown Shanghai were blown by the typhoon. The suspension caused damage to vehicles and houses.
Due to the typhoon, highways, elevated expressways and public transportation systems in downtown Shanghai were closed, and shopping malls also advanced and delayed their business hours.
On the third day of the typhoon, the city began to return to normal. This film was shot on the third day. We came to the Suzhou River and saw that the water of the Suzhou River was already above the road surface. Fortunately, the newly built landscape dyke blocked the overflow of the river.
