Walk in Marburg, Germany
Marburg is a university town in the German federal state (Bundesland) of Hesse. The town area spreads along the valley of the river Lahn.
Marburg is famous for the Philipps University, founded in 1527 and its old town with half-timbered houses.
On this walk we start at market fountain (Marktbrunnen) right on the market square. We explore the narrow streets of Marburg and walk all around the Altstadt.
On our way we see some sights like churches and even pass some sculptures of the “Grimm-Dich-Pfad”.
