Kyoto, officially Kyoto City, is the capital city of Kyoto Prefecture in Japan.

Himukai-Daijingu Shrine (日向大神宮) is a Shinto shrine, rebuilt in the early Edo period, approached via a wooded trail. It is near the tourist attraction Nanzenji Temple (南禅寺).
