Visiting Buddhist Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda – Da Nang, Vietnam

Da Nang is the third largest city in Vietnam by urban population. It lies on the coast of the South China Sea at the mouth of the Han River, and is one of Vietnam’s most important port cities.

Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda is one of three temples with the same name Linh Ung near Da Nang city.

Located on top of Ba Na Hill in Ba Na Ecotourism Area with an altitude of nearly 1,500 meters, Linh Ung Pagoda was inaugurated, March, 2004.

The pagoda has a majestic statue of the Buddha, 27m high and white. From Da Nang city, on sunny days, this white statue can be seen standing out on the green background of the famous tourist resort Ba Na Nui Chua.
