Saga Dawa is a holy month falling on the fourth month of the Tibetan Lunar calendar. Prayer song regarding Buddha Shakyamuni’s three major events of his birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana.

In Buddhism, parinirvana is commonly used to refer to nirvana-after-death, which occurs upon the death of someone who has attained nirvana during his or her lifetime.
