Red Spider Lily in Tachikawa Park – Tachikawa City, Tokyo
Lycoris radiata, known as the red spider lily, hell flower, red magic lily, or equinox flower, is a plant in the amaryllis family, Amaryllidaceae, subfamily Amaryllidoideae. Originally from China, Korea, and Nepal, it was introduced into Japan and from there to the United States and elsewhere.
Along the clear stream of Negawa Greenery Road in Tachikawa Park in Tachikawa City, Tokyo, cherry blossoms bloom in spring and red spider lily bloom in autumn.
Tachikawa city is located in the western portion of Tokyo Metropolis, Japan.
