Luocheng Ancient Town Travel Guide – Sichuan, China

Luocheng Ancient Town (罗城古镇) also called “The Noah’s Ark of China” or “The Oriental Noah’s Ark,” this town is famous for housing China’s only boat-shaped street.

Located 60 km away from Leshan, it’s definitely one of China’s hidden gems. Leshan, formerly known as Jiading or Jiazhou, is a prefecture-level city located at the confluence of the Dadu and Min rivers in Sichuan Province.

This Sichuan travel secret is a mixed town with seven ethnic minorities. It’s also one a famous teahouse town in China. Besides drinking tea, things to do here include visiting the Lingguan Temple, trying some of Luocheng’s famous beef and watching Sichuan Opera.
