The little grebe, also known as dabchick, is a member of the grebe family of water birds.
Scientific name: Tachybaptus ruficollis.
Distribution: Africa, Eurasia, India, Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, the Philippines, Indonesia, northern New Guinea.
