Hogon-in Buddhist Temple View – Kyoto, Japan

Hogon-in (宝厳院) is a Buddhist temple located in Ukyo Ward, Kyoto, Japan.

I went to Hogon-in Temple, which is one of the sub-temples of Daihonzan Tenryu-ji Temple in Arashiyama, Kyoto and is open to the public in spring and autumn.

The gardens of Hogon-in Temple are relatively few people, so you can take your time and look around.

The temple known for its landscaped seasonal garden and statues. It is also famous as a spot for autumn leaves.
