Driving through the Xiala Mountain Pass – Tibet, China
In this video we will cross the highest peak of the Sichuan-Tibet Central Line – Xia La Mountain (5072m). It also known as Xiala Mountain Pass and is known as the “most dangerous road and barrier of entering Tibet”.
Starting from the downtown Biru County of Nagqu City, via the China National Highway G558 (Provincial Highway S303) to Naida Village of Biru County.
There is almost no paved road along the entire route, and the terrain is dangerous and steep. Its difficulty exceeds many of the winding mountain roads in Tibet.
