Artemis Trail & Millomeris Waterfalls Trail, Cyprus

The Artemis trail is named after the Goddess Artemis, daughter of Zeus and Leto and twin sister of the God Apollo. The trail circles around Mount Olympus (Chionistra) at an average altitude of 1,850m with beautiful view towards all the directions. Two ancient black pines (pinus nigra) that are more than 500 years old are in the forest. The trail is inside the Troodos National Forest Park.

Platres or Pano Platres, is a mountainous village in Cyprus. It is located on the southern slopes of the Troodos Mountains and is one of the wine villages. Platres is the largest Troodos resort, situated about 5km from Troodos Square, 25 kilometers north-west of Limassol and 45 kilometers south-west of the capital Nicosia.

Millomeris Waterfalls is located near the village of Pano Platres. A nice trail leads to a waterfalls. Parking 50 meters from the trail entrance. The waterfalls is stunning.
